Product Specialist

The job is to service, proactively engage and further educate our customers, while keeping with the SmartPak philosophy of first-class customer service.

SmartPak is a fun and fast-paced environment, and you must be able to function as a dynamic member of our exceptional team. The ideal candidate has real-life equine and canine experience, is self confident, driven and has a background in consultative selling and serving customers. An interest in animal health and nutrition is a must.

This entry-level opportunity provides room for advancement. There is no relocation package available for this position. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview.

Responsibilities:
All aspects of customer service and sales, including:
  • Handling high call and email volume (placing orders, answering questions and everything in between)
  • Participate in outbound calling initiatives
  • Customer account management
  • Expert knowledge of our supplement and supply product lines
  • Participation in vendor, nutritional/supplement and product training
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong equine background, canine experience a plus
  • Sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Sales background strongly preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Able to multi-task and think quickly on your feet
  • Comfortable working independently as well as within a group
  • An outstanding personality and sense of humor!
