.NET Developer

Position Summary:

We need a self-motivated developer to take our e-commerce to the next level. As an e-commerce company with custom software, SmartPak has growing development needs. We have lots of great ideas but need your help to implement them. This position requires expert level competence with ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server and a working knowledge of Visual Basic and Microsoft Access. Experience in e-commerce is also a plus. Position will involve developing new windows and web applications in ASP.NET and C# as well as migrating existing applications into .NET. Position would be responsible for developing, testing, and launch of projects. Strong knowledge of database architecture is required for understanding of this complex custom software. This is a full time position reporting to the Director of Software Development.

Essential Job Functions:

• Coding objects, web pages, controls, windows forms, etc in ASP.NET and C#
• Creating views, stored procedures in TSQL to implement new business functionality.
• Recommending architecture/infrastructure changes to enhance performance and/or implement new projects
• Executing on a written or verbal specification with thoroughness and attention to detail

Minimum Requirements:

• BA or BS in Computer Science or related field
• 2-3 years experience in ASP.NET, C#, HTML, SQL, VB, Access
• Excellent business communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated analysis/assessment capabilities
• Planning & organization skills
• Orientation toward high quality standards
• Capable of making reliable decisions
• Sense of Humor!
